Henrietta Janssen is getting impatient. She doesn’t know what for, exactly, but she’s determined something exciting needs to happen, and soon. You’d have thought there would be loads of adventures going on in a war, but she just seems to go from home to school and back again. Will Henrietta get her adventure? And will she regret it if she does? Inspired by true stories of love, sacrifice and the extraordinary courage of ordinary people in the Netherlands in the Second World War. Commissioned in 2019 by the National Youth Music Theatre (NYMT) for the 2020 summer season (delayed to 2021 due to the pandemic).
